Privacy Policy

Overview

nuller is built to respect your privacy. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. This policy explains what data nuller handles, how it is stored, and your rights as a user.

Data controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is MVCS ApS, a company registered in Denmark. If you have any questions or requests regarding your data, contact us at hello@nuller.app.

Data stored on your device

All time entries, client information, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you use nuller without signing in, this data never leaves your device.

Sign in with Apple and sync

If you choose to sign in with Apple, nuller authenticates you using your Apple identity token. As part of this process, nuller receives and stores your Apple user ID and, if shared by Apple, your email address. This information is used solely to identify your account and is stored securely on servers operated by MVCS ApS.

Once signed in, your time entries and client data are synced to nuller's backend so you can access them across devices and via the nuller web app. This data is stored on servers provided by Supabase, Inc., which acts as a data sub-processor on our behalf. Supabase is GDPR compliant and processes data solely on our instructions. You can read more at supabase.com/privacy.

iCloud sync

If you are signed into iCloud and have iCloud enabled for nuller, your data may also sync across your devices via Apple's CloudKit service. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. MVCS ApS does not have access to your iCloud data.

Analytics and tracking

nuller does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not track your behaviour inside the app.

In-app purchases

Payments for nuller Pro are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. MVCS ApS does not receive or store any payment information.

Notifications

nuller may send local notifications to remind you of running or paused timers and end-of-day reminders. These are generated on your device and no notification data is sent to our servers.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete the app without signing in, all local data is removed from your device. If you have a sync account and wish to have your data permanently deleted from our servers, contact us at hello@nuller.app and we will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, as well as the right to restrict or object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@nuller.app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
